People in Rio de Janeiro are...friendly, outgoing and beautiful.

Rio is my city, because...I love the people, the weather, the nature, the beach, the forest, every little piece of the city.

There is the best breakfast at...Cafeína in Ipanema or Leblon.

My favorite club is... Clandestino in Copacabana: always crowded, best mojito ever, low prices and good DJs.

My favorite bar is ...the Devassa Bar, best chopp and great food.

My insider tipp for a summer in Rio is...to visit in Carnaval, but enjoy what we call "street carnival", with bands in the streets (we call it "blocos") and the best: it´s free, you don´t have to pay anything, just the beer.

After celebrating at 5am we visit...the beach to drink a coconut water to "recharge the batteries."

There is good Live music at...Lapa bars.

For "delicious and cheap" I eat at...Bar do Mineiro or Aprazível, both in Santa Teresa.

What is a must-see for a Rio tourist? Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas by night in a bar, to listen some music (jazz) and see all the lights around this big lagoon and Cristo Redentor. It´s my favorite program in Rio. (I already did this (-;)

What is a must-eat/drink for a Rio tourist? Caipirinha to drink and Churrasco or Feijoada to eat.

What a Rio-Tourist don`t have to see, althought it is promoted in all travel guides? I don´t like the favelas tour guides, all the cariocas hate it, it´s a way to explore the miserness.

I don`t like ... the violence, although I´ve never been a victim.
